About
Why here? Why now?
Built in 1843, this 180 year old farmhouse has
quite a storied history. Originally built as an inn and stage
stop, this house has undergone more expansions in it's lifetime, than
owners. Affectionately known as "The Zeeb House", it was bought
in 2006 by Dixboro General Store owners Steve and Brenda Dani.
After nearly three years of inactivity, Steve along with brother Ken,
gave the house a much needed facelift. After a few light
fixtures, a lot of elbow grease and more paint than either of them care
to remember, the house now sparkles and is ready to once again
accept overnight visitors. One hundred and eighty years later...
the Dixboro Inn lives on.
